I will not apologise to Ayesha
Facing a legal trouble over his alleged first marriage with Ayesha Siddiqui, Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik today said he will not apologise to Ayesha, who claims to be his first wife. Addressing a press conference along with Sania Mirza with whom he is slated to get married on April 15, Shaoib said he will not apologise to Ayesha.
Shoaib said, "I am co-operating with the Indian government. I am here to clear my name on every single charge."
Backing Shoaib, Sania said, there was no marriage so there is no question of a divorce."
Shoaib said that Ayesha was claiming to be his first wife for cheap publicity. "Wouldn't like to lose respect I have earned," said Shoaib.
He asked, "Why is she (Ayesha) in hiding? Why can't she come out on camera and let people decide what is right and what is wrong."
Sania reiterated that the marriage would take place on April 15 and that they were very happy.
