A maid in Singapore came across an unlabelled compact disc in her Pasir Ris flat and was shocked to discover on viewing it that someone had planted a video camera in the toilet.
The next day, she checked and found a pinhole camera hidden in the water heater.
She called the police and her employer, Ramshah Mustafa, admitted to installing it to watch her bathing.
The cab driver was jailed for three weeks on Thursday.
Investigations revealed that the pinhole camera was linked wirelessly to a video camera attached to the television set in the master bedroom.
Ramshah also told police that he had last watched the maid in the nude a month earlier.
For intruding into her privacy, he could have been jailed for up to a year and/or fined up to S$10,000 (RM24,000).
