Artiste wants smaller breasts

When more and more women in China are going for breast enlargement surgery, 20-year-old Sally Xu Haojia from Qingdao, wants to opt for the opposite.

Xu, an artiste who performs at nightclubs and karaoke joints, has always thought that her pair of G-cup breasts are a nuisance although they make her the centre of attraction on the streets.

"I always face sexual harassment from men or having people staring at my breasts."

"I hate all this. I have difficulties walking or climbing the stairs. I even have problems buying a bra of my size in China," she said.

She recently consulted several plastic surgeons at a hospital in southern China for the operation to make her breasts smaller.

Xu, who is 1.6m-tall and weighs 60kg, said her breasts contribute to 10% of her total body weight.

"My breasts started ballooning when I was 15 and they only stopped growing last year," she told Yangzi Wanbao.

Xu said her audiences have always seen her as a exhibitionist star because of her breasts.
