New blog showing prostitutes at work
You had better believe this.
There is a buzzworthy new blog in Singapore that captures images of naughty men and the sex workers they solicitate, reports The New Paper.
On the blog, there are more than 100 pictures of drivers allegedly being approached by sexily-dressed women in their cars at night.
And their vehicle licence plates are clearly visible in most, if not all the pictures.
There are also close ups of the women, some skimpily dressed.
The blog - with URL alluded to prostitues at work, has attracted much attention from netizens, some of whom wonder if the pictures are an invasion of privacy.
These netizens, who wrote on popular local forums like HardwareZone and sgclub, said the licence plate numbers of the vehicles should have been blocked out.
So, are the photographs an invasion of privacy?
The blog owner did not give his reason for starting the blog but said the photographs were contributed by the public.
However, there is no contact e-mail for submissions and visitors cannot post comments on the blog.
The blog also carried a disclaimer, saying that reasonable steps have been taken to ensure the accuracy of the website's contents and that the owner is not responsible for inaccuracies or liable for losses and damages.
But lawyers said such a disclaimer does not protect the owner from legal action.
