Prince William had no money
Prince William of Wales was caught in an embarrassing situation when he had no money to pay for his shopping.
The prince, who is second in the line of succession to the British throne, turned to his girlfriend Kate Middleton for help but she had no money either.
The couple ended up paying for their £12.60 (RM61) worth of groceries with Middleton's platinum credit card.

Dressed casually and hidden behind steel-framed glasses, William and Middleton popped into a mini-market in the small town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales, on a Sunday night.
After a while, William took the basket containing two pizzas, a bag of chips, an iceberg lettuce, a bag of salad leaves, a bottle of orange juice and two bottles of water to the counter.
Immediately, he was recognised by shop assistant Sioned Compton, who excitedly exclaimed: "Oh my God! You're Prince William, aren't you?"
He just looked down at his feet and muttered: "No. No, I'm not."
Knowing that she had spoken 'out of turn', Compton did not press the issue and proceeded to put his shopping through the till.
Soon, the 28-year-old prince realised that he had no money and asked his girlfriend: "Can you pay, please? I've not got any cash."
But Middleton had none either, so she had to produce her credit card that confirmed William's identity.
"I couldn't believe it when he rocked up at our store. I noticed someone from his security team accompanied him and stood at the entrance.
"Wills was driving an Audi. There appeared to be no other passenger but there were two other cars – one in front and one behind – when he pulled away," said Compton.
She said she was disappointed that William did not admit that he is the prince.
"He must have had his reasons," she added.
